Action
Founder - Editor - Host
World famous author Paulo Coelho, most known for his book
The Alchemist, said, "The two worst strategic mistakes to
make are acting prematurely and letting an opportunity
slip; to avoid this, the warrior treats each situation as if
it were unique and never resorts to formulae, recipes or other
people's opinions."
Add to that Walt Disney's opinion: "The way to get started is
to quit talking and begin doing." Are you noticing a pattern
here?
"Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no
happiness without action," advised Benjamin Disraeli. Action,
continuous action, is the path you must take for freedom in
life, for success, for happiness.
Henry Ford said, "It has been my observation in life that most
people get ahead during the time that others waste time."
You come home from work and you deserve to chill! The weekend
comes, and it's "your time." More time to chill! What could
you accomplish if you just took a little of that time and
moved toward action…toward a definite goal?
It is my observation that the racehorse wins by a nose…the
racecar driver, by a hundredth of a second. And you can
probably recall an incident in your life when you escaped a
disaster by a split second. Proof to us, as human beings,
that it does not take a lot more to succeed - just a little
more!
Most people become habitual robots. They fall into an unhappy
comfort zone, not because it satisfies them, but because they
imitate the actions of those with whom they associate. And
most people do not act! Take action - take action as a matter
of daily habit - and you will see spectacular things happen in
your life.
If you do a little bit extra every day, after awhile, a little
becomes a lot, and you get a whole lot done with very little
effort.
Move into the spectacular zone. Just take one step each day.
You cannot take steps forward, no matter how small, without
moving from your current circumstances. Eventually, you will
come into the "real" comfort zone, the one where true
freedom of choice, financial freedom, and connectedness with
others on a large scale surrounds you.
Use the power inside of you, the power that already exists,
the power that you alone possess, to act!
