Ignite Your Passion

Founder - Editor - Host

E. M. Gray, author of The Common Denominator of Success, wrote, "The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don't like to do.  They don't like doing them either necessarily.  But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose."  They have a vision in their mind of what they want to accomplish.  Their resolve is so strong that failure is not a possibility.

This is not to say that they won't bump through hard times.  The adversities they weather become secondary to their purpose.  Their belief in their vision stretches beyond anything that may happen in their lives.

Many people get started, have "life" happen to them, and become discouraged with life's great hand.  They drop their dreams, and cave in to the "poor me" syndrome.  Successful people resolve that, if life is going to give them a raw hand, they are going to go out fighting!

Would you rather go out in an explosion of glory, or fade away, little by little, with no sign that you have ever lived?

"Winners have the ability to step back from the canvas of their lives like an artist gaining perspective. They make their lives a work of art -- an individual masterpiece," wrote Denis Waitley.  You have that "something special" that you can do better than anyone else.  Applaud your own unique qualities, and cast aside any thoughts that you may not "measure up."  With determined action, you will not only "measure up," but you will far exceed your initial perceptions.

American actor Channing Pollock wrote, "No matter how small and unimportant what we are doing may seem, if we do it well, it may soon become the step that will lead us to better things."  If you keep a journal, a record of your expectations and actions, you will be able to track your progress, and this will become a replenishing drink to your spirit.  You will set the bar higher as time goes on, achieving excellence by natural course.
