Making Choices With Results

Carolyn Smagalski

Decision

Founder - Editor - Host

Choosing well is one of your more important roles as a human being.  "When you make an efficient choice in moments of indecision, you establish more effectiveness within a given time span, saving energy and stress. That's a time shift," said William Jennings Bryan.

Indecision wastes your time and the reserves you need to persevere.  Choice sets you in a firm direction, giving you power over your circumstances.  Doc Childre wrote, "How you choose to respond each moment to the movie of life determines how you see the next frame, and the next, and eventually how you feel when the movie ends."

You want to be the director - the one who chooses whether the movie is a great epic or a comedy of life.  You have the ability to grasp the adversities and twist them into opportunity and power.  You are the one who decides how your life will unfold.

"Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved," said Doc Childre.  You are the Master of your Choices - the Master of your Life.

Consequences are the result of choosing badly, but benefits are the results of choosing well.  When you choose well, you learn about time management and how to work with people.  You learn about the power of the marketplace, and about strength of spirit.  When you choose well, you have the freedom to be benevolent and to exercise kindness toward others.  You learn about society, business, government, and taxes.  You gain self-respect and the respect of others because greater opportunities present themselves to those who choose well.  You develop keener perception.  You can weigh words in the business sector with greater accuracy, and increase your rate of success.
