Belief In Your Dreams

Goal Setting

Founder - Editor - Host

"A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world," wrote Oscar Wilde.  This is not looking at the world through rose-colored glasses.   When you open your mind to belief, you are setting into action the same energy by which the world was created.  This is the foundation of goal setting.

Socrates wrote, "The uninitiated are those who believe in nothing except what they can grasp in their hands, and who deny the existence of all that is invisible."  If you think about the most powerful forces in nature – electricity, wind, gravity, light – it becomes apparent that they encompass the most intangible side of life force.  Their existence is unquestionable, as is their power.  Thought falls into this same category of natural forces, with all their prolific power.

If you study the lives of those who have made huge successes of their lives, the pattern of belief in their dreams is prominent.  George Harrison of Beatles fame said, "Follow your gut feeling.  Have confidence.  We made it up as we went along."  This is echoed in the words of others who have enjoyed magnanimous success.  As they reached their small milestones, they pondered what could be next.  They made small moves in their lives, but were fully aware of the masterpiece they were painting.  As achievements were reached, they applauded themselves for a moment, allowed themselves to feel success, then moved onward to the subsequent square.

Follow the course of your dreams with stalwart faith.  Let nothing diminish your vision!  Your life is much like painting a mural.  You may not be able to see the final picture from your vantage point.  If you continue painting each block with confidence, the picture will eventually come together.
