Action
Founder - Editor - Host
"Never mistake motion for action," wrote Ernest Hemingway. If
you have goals and dreams, direct your actions toward
purposeful targets that will take you closer to those goals.
Take three steps forward each day:
·
Do one thing each day that you do not want to do, but that you
know, if you do it, will take you closer to your goal.
·
Contact one person each day who would be significant to your
network - offer your services in some small way, and ask for
help in some small way.
·
Review your goals each day for follow-up, and take the action
necessary to check your course and re-direct it if necessary.
No, it is not easy to form a habit that can move you forward
each day. You will meet with conflict and weariness at
times. Forgive yourself the occasional stumble. Constantly
look at the big picture, and you will see your success as it
grows.
Frederick Douglass, one of the most prolific speakers in the
abolitionist movement against slavery in America, wrote,
"Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate
agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the
ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they
want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The
struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or
it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes
nothing without a demand; it never has and it never will."
Action cannot be consistently followed without some inner
struggle, but you have the ability to turn lemons into
lemonade. The nature of the human condition may urge you to
lie in the sun, feel the warmth, and listen to the ocean. If
this is where your head is, make a commitment to capitalize on
your nature.

advertisers and travel experts will find value in your work.
Keep constantly moving toward your purpose. "A little
knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much
knowledge that is idle," said Kahlil Gibran. You are most
effective when your action is directed.
