Achieving Personal Excellence

Commitment

Founder - Editor - Host

"All things excellent are as difficult as they are rare," said 16th century philosopher Benjamin Spinoza.  There is no doubt that personal excellence is the rocket fuel to achievement.  When you constantly push yourself to perform to your highest capacity, your reputation grows as one who will always be worth her salt.  Opportunities will present themselves more readily.  Your choices will expand.

Brian Tracy, master of personal development, wrote, "Personal development is your springboard to personal excellence. Ongoing, continuous, non-stop personal development literally assures you that there is no limit to what you can accomplish."  Your own view of your potential rises.  You dare to accomplish challenges you would never have attempted in the past.  You become more aware of your surroundings and of what you can do to improve those surroundings.  Your recommendations become valid to others, and you create opportunity for yourself and for fellow associates.

"Excellence is in the details.  Give attention to the details and excellence will come," says Perry Paxton.

Active Enthusiasm assists you as you strive toward your goals toward achieving excellence.  Mediocrity cannot exist where enthusiasm for accomplishment lives.  As you find pleasure in challenge, enthusiasm carries you through.  Be aware that the bar is always rising.  If you don’t meet the challenge, someone else will.  The history of Olympic excellence proves this.  Each new wave of athletes achieve loftier goals, as records that were once seen as monumental accomplishments are left in the dust

Balance is necessary to achieve personal excellence.  "Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance," continues Tracy.  Continuously move toward creating congruity between your beliefs and your actions.  Give attention to all areas of your life.

Reach for the sky.  Make excellence your trademark, and you will see your world expand a thousandfold.
