Accomplishment

Ignite Your Passion

Founder - Editor - Host

"Work joyfully and peacefully, knowing that right thoughts and right efforts will inevitably bring about right results," wrote James Allen, author of 19 books on personal development and achievement.  His second book, As a Man Thinketh, is considered his best work and was actually published due to the determined prodding of Allen's wife.

Accomplishment.  You have often been urged to keep a personal journal of "victories and achievements" throughout the year, and to read them often.  This is not for the purpose of becoming full of yourself with ego-maniacal conceit, but rather to solidify your attribute of self-confidence.

Of all the character traits necessary in the accomplishment of your goals, self-confidence - or lack thereof - tops the list in controlling the results you will achieve.  Self-confidence is responsible for how far you progress, and for the limitations you put upon yourself.  It is the charge that will carry you into the battle, or leave you cowering in a cave of self-defeat.

Break out of the mold that inhibits your ability to achieve.  Your success is not dependent on the way you were raised, or on the belief systems of your parents.  It is not dependent on your past poor choices, or on the burden of your current situation.

You have total control over your personal beliefs.  You can make choices that will enhance your life, create joy, and propel you toward the ultimate "big picture."  You may meet with some difficulties, but who ever said the path was without a few rough stones?  You are an extraordinary person who has abilities and talents that no one else has.

"One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men.  No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man," wrote Elbert Hubbard, author of the essay, “A Message to Garcia” (1899), a lesson in duty and efficiency based on an incident in the Spanish-American War.

When your desires are strong enough you will appear to possess superhuman powers to achieve," said Napoleon Hill.  Strong desires are very empowering.  Once they are released, they can rocket you toward success at the speed of light.
