Through the power of Google, Amazon and EBay search engines,
anthems for living an abundant life are continuously at your
fingertips. Knowing how to access that information can open
up a world of success tools to make that happen: books that
present success from a new perspective, seminars that teach
entrepreneurial skills, videos that explain the Law of
Attraction, and mentors for you to study and emulate.
Many observers are content to read about the “Rich and Famous”
in People Magazine or the National Enquirer.
This is as close as they dare come to abundance, because the
idea of dealing with that level of expectation from fans is a
bit intimidating. Successful people need to appear
larger-than-life, making it more difficult for the observer to
envision himself living with this level of success.
How many times have you researched those in your field, only
to find that their monumental success is a bit staggering?
You find it difficult to imagine that they started at the
beginning - that they had challenges and adversities and
moments of discouragement. Now they cannot walk in public
without being interrupted by admirers.
"Repeated success is not about memorizing facts, it's about
being able to take information and create, build, or apply it
in new and important ways," writes Dr. Philip E. Humbert.
These successful authorities may have monumental
achievements. You, however, have just as much ability to use
your creativity to create excitement.
Dr. Seymour Epstein wrote, "Superachievers think in ways that
make them less sensitive to disapproval and rejection. They
brush off rejection faster." Do you brush off rejection, or
do you find ways to beat yourself up? Keep a spirit that
stays continuously buoyed-up with energy as you strive toward
success. Make yourself impervious to criticism. Every
adversity carries with it a good story for future use. Each
creates a magical tale of gut-wrenching magnitude, tension
release, or laughter that launches uncontrollable guffaws.
"You carry the torch of a champion. You may not fully
recognize it, but it is with you, wherever you go," wrote Dr.
Denis Waitley. Seize abundance and revel in the fruits of
your beliefs.
