Abundance and Action

Action

Founder - Editor - Host

I am assuming, since you are reading this, that you are one of the doers of the world.  You must be a persistent thinker, one who has clearly defined your goals.  You know what you want, and you are taking action to achieve your dreams.  Clear definition of your dreams includes abundance thinking in every area of your life.  Deepak Chopra speaks of abundance as a natural occurrence when you center yourself with your surrounding world.  As part of an infinite universe, abundance flows naturally, because it is a function of universal nature to do so.  He says, “Grass doesn’t try to grow…it just grows.  Flowers don’t try to bloom...they just bloom.”  It is their nature, and it is our nature to enjoy this abundance.  With centered thought, we are moved toward natural action.  Christian Nevell Bovee, (1820-1904) American author and attorney, wrote, "It is the nature of thought to find its way into action."

Vincent Lombardi, one of the most successful football coaches in the history of the game, recognized how rare the ability to take action is, and applauded those with nothing but their dreams and determination to sustain them.  Lombardi boomed,  "It is time for us all to stand and cheer for the doer, the achiever - the one who recognizes the challenge and does something about it."  Classic Lombardi, not just a leader, but one who openly placed the spotlight on those who were motivational role model for others.

"A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be," said Rosalynn Carter.  Truly great leaders ask for stronger commitment from their team players.  They help the team see ways in which they can stretch toward self-actualization.  As you continue growing into the person you believe you can be, challenge yourself in uncharted territory.  Define new roles and put action into your engine.

You have it within yourself to succeed.  Push onward, with the determination necessary to transform a volcano into a lush island paradise.  It will happen, because you have made that decision.  Abundance flows naturally when your actions become self-determined.

"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb." -- Sir Winston Churchill
